Paul, I'm not following your comments - are you saying that only two new people have become members since 2009? I can't recall precisely who, but about 6-8 new people seemed to have posted topics, who had recently joined in the past two years.
Only two boats of the 2009-2011 years have been registered, we have had dozens of new owner registrations, but obviously the older boats are the best represented.
I'm certain that owners of the new models would benefit from knowing about us, but wonder if the message is getting across to them.
New owners (of new boats) are supposed to receive a free years subscription to the Mainsheet mag, but I'm not sure of that is directly via the publisher or directly though us!

6,000+ C-25s and about 1,000 C-250s have been built. From that population of boats, under 500 "users" have posted to our forums in 2011. That's about 7%. (Others are probably lurking silently--so let's increase that by about half and call it 10%.) So apparently most of the owners out there (the other 90%) have no awareness of or interest in this kind of group--I've known a few in that category. They own a boat, they use it a little, they enjoy it, and then they fuggetaboutit. It's not like they own a Herreshoff design--it's more like owning a Chevy.
