Was thinking this would be a good project boat, or spare parts locker

Not sure what kind of keel, but if someone was interested they could borrow my swing-keel style trailor. I have no affiliation with this boat.

I wonder if they'd consider selling the companionway, mainsail, and tiller covers. I really prefer the maroon to the blue on my boat, but I'm too cheap to go buy replacements!

Doesn't $4K seem a bit high for a 1979?

wow ... that looks high to me as well. I paid $0 for my 1979 boat. But probably put $1500+ in repair in it, minus the new tools and the motor.

Dunno I paid like $8900 for my 1978 just a few years ago, put AT LEAST 2k in it.
Wouldnt dream of selling it for Less than I purchased it.

Unless it's pristine (it's not) I think that's a bit too high for a '79 with no motor or trailer.

You know, for parts it just may pay for itself. Lets see, there's a furler, all the canvas, the keel for scrap, standing rigging, gauges, etc.

If he threw in the trailer you might just break even once you were done parting it out.
