It rained here last night, starting around 5PM, and the power went off around 5AM this morning for about an hour. I'm not sure why, didn't hear any thunder or see any lightning.

The aviation weather site is good to follow a few days before a regatta:

http://www.usairnet.com/cgi-bin/launch/code.cgi?Submit=Go&sta=KBNA&state=TN

Type in your city for your own local info.

<< now I like Unisys water vapor >>

Very Nice.

I think that is fed from this server.

http://www.goes.noaa.gov/

http://www.goes.noaa.gov/HURRLOOPS/atwv.html

The Navy usta give up the best specific wave direction, wind, and temp information in the Gulf coast, but I've lost that server location. I'm not sure they give it out anymore, as commercial companies are selling the data.

Yepper.. the USair site rocks.
