I see that Winters will be at the AC boat show, as will two other sailboat dealers. Does anyone know if there will be any sailboats on display (or, alternatively, if there have historically been any sailboats on display)? Are there any good deals to be had?

NOTE: In my case, PLEASE don't confuse stars/number of posts with actual knowledge. On any topic.
Is there a list of good "sailboat" shows or meets on the internet? If not, then maybe we could put one together. I don't know of any in my area, but I'd be willing to travel to surrounding states.
Jim I went to the AC boat show last year. There were more sailboats on display than I expected - 8 or 10 from Catalina, Benetau and whomever else Wiinters represents and a few trailer type boats. It was not a great show, but I live less than an hour from AC so I could not resist. May go again this year just to smell the curing resin!
Pat Thanks for the feedback! Its about 2 hours for me, but my kids would enjoy seeing all the boats, as would I. Maybe I will run into you there, if I make it!
The AC boat show generally has 5 or 6 sailboats in attendance. It's much more geared to power. Since I live in the area I generally go every year but more to look at general boating accessories than anything sail specific (I also own a Mako 22). The entry fee and parking is not cheap either but you can buy tickets on line at a discount. Just speaking from my own experience, I've never felt that there were any real deals there but I never bought a boat there either. To me it's just a way to spend a winter evening.
Sorry, I was late to see this thread. We've gone to AC Boat Show the past two years. There's been a gradually growing presence of Sailboats from Winters/Riverside/Tidewater (Havre de Grace)/Sail Annapolis (all owned by the Winters family). Last year they had 8-10 Cat/Bene/Jenn/Hunter boats in the 27-44'range, plus several dinghies. It's nothing compared to the Annapolis show, but it's still a nice getaway on a cold winter day if you're not too far away.
It is mostly power boats (which can be pretty cool to walk through, also), but they also have a lot of electronics and accessory vendors exhibiting. If you're a new boat owner, it can be useful to browse around, and there are some discounts, but nothing huge.
We hope to go again this year, but with nothing really pressing that we need, we'll wait until the last minute to decide for sure.
Jim - Let me know which day you're going. We can try to meet up.
Rick, Sounds great! My wife is going in for surgery on Thursday. We hope she will be recovered enough by the time the show comes, but realistically that may not be the case. So, I'm still playing the whole thing by ear. If we do go, I'll be sure to ping you!
Rick, Sorry for the late notice, but we'll be at the show tomorrow. It will at least be my father-in-law and me, and my two boys may come along, too. If you'll be there, drop me an E-mail; I have a Blackberry and can get my E-mails.
Jim - We're not gonna make it this year (just decided today). Our son is in the school musical this weekend, and we have no compelling need to look at any gear or new boats, and a whole lot of projects to work on around the house. Have fun there!
HUGE, and CROWDED. We got there around 11:30, left at almost 4, and didn't see all of it. LOTS of powerboat eye candy, from 8-10' dinghies to a double-decker pontoon boat with a slide attached to the 2nd level that lead down to the water, to a massive 45-50' with a second level (but not slide). There was a 20-25 minute line to see the big boat. There were also 10-12 sailboat, including a C385. Unfortunately, we didn't find those until we were exhausted, and I didn't make it into the Catalina. Lots of power boat accessories, too, but nothing that I needed. No cleats, lines, etc., for example.
My father-in-law, my kids, and I had fun, and the Hunter and Benteau's are stunning. If you're looking for sailing stuff, not the best place. But it was still fun.
