I've got the mast down for the first time, doing numerous things topside while the bottom work is being done.
When I took the masthead casting off to install a new antenna, light, and windex, I saw the forestay was connected to the pin closest to the bow. The manual seems to show the forestay hooked up to the next pin aft, closer to the mast. I'm guessing that's to allow for a possible spinnaker block on the foremost pin.
I'm just being curious here, but with the CDI furler installed, do you think the forestay was in the forward pin for the furler to have adequate rotating clearance from the mast?? It doesn't make much difference now, but if I ever plan to have a spinnaker, I might need to use the front pin for that.
The most forward clevis pin is for a spinnaker halyard and the clevis pin closest to the mast is for the forestay. I have a Harken furler with a somewhat large upper swivel and the mast does not contact it. You will probably have to move the forestay to the second clevis pin or install a masthead crane if you ever rig a spinnaker halyard.

osmepneo has a spinniker halyard, and I added a CDI ff4 roller furler a couple of years ago. I haven't checked the masthead configuration, but would expect the spinniker halyard to be on the forwardmost pin, and the forestay to be on the one closest to the mast.
That said, I have never noticed any interferance between the CDI furler and the mast. While down, I'd move the forestay to the aft pin, and add a spinniker halyard for that time when you would want it.
