I had significan wicking of Cetol Lite under masking tape in a couple of spots when I did my coaming box trim. I didn't get back to trying to remove it for several weeks, but I'm happy to say that Mr. Clean Magic Eraser won the contest with very little effort.

Excellent! Was just looking at my crib boards today and plan to sand them & reapply cetol. Problem is, if I redo my crib boards, I also have to do the threshhold and the companion-way trim boards. Next, I'd have to do the cabin top handle and trim.
I'd prefer not to remove the trim boards, but I know how tenacious the cetol can be if you splash it or it seeps (which it invariably does). Nice to know that a Magic Eraser will take care of it :-)
Thanks for the tip Dave. I was planning on trying the Frog tape, but it's good to know there's a backup plan. BTW - hubby made a temp. plywood hatch board replacement and promised to sand and cetol the hatch boards for me starting this week. I've been frustrated by family commitments and a nasty cold and he said he did it 'cause he knew I needed something to keep my spirits up. He does love me! :)
