The old boy still looks pretty good after 25 years. The result of spending it's summers in a pristine natural high mountain lake,a lot of loving care and $$$.

I do have to say living farther north sure keeps these boats looking good. Your boat looks like new! My poor old boat has been living on the gulf coast it's whole life and the gelcoat is showing it's age. Your teak looks awesome too!
The owner of Rudder Craft is a friend. He makes a great product. His tillers are beautiful and I've had racing success with his rudder. If I didn't love the rudder...I wouldn't use it on my boat.

I've had boats in warm salt water... constant maintenance and headache. Then again, we get to sail 5 months/year. I'll take the maintenance. Our lake in the summer is a paradise tho'.
Mine was this morning, and we got her in without major mishap. The only problem was that I believed a guy in the yard when he said he knew how to step a mast... for my sins I get to buy a handful of new turnbuckles and T-bolts.
The boat is now in her slip, approximately 20 paces from the YC bar.
