I'm looking for a source of 1/2" thick Teak Plywood to rebuild the bow panel for the inside of my V-Berth of my C25. There was a longtime leak through the bowline loop/cleat just fore of the anchor locker that has rotted the panel and block below. I'm replacing the block with a polywood replacement that I've fabricated using the original as a pattern but would like to make a new berth panel. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,

I like South Jersey Lumberman's Supply on Holly Ave. in Mays Landing NJ. You can google them and find their prices on their website. They also advertise in Woodenboat magazine. Because they are local I've visited their mill a few times and they are a small, friendly operation. I was there about a month ago for a small piece of teak that cost about $35.00 and the owner probably spent more than that for his time finding a piece, cutting, sanding and advising me on the best way to finish it for what I was doing.
Brian- Around CT you can try West End Lumber in Bridgeport (believe it or not, but call ahead) and Rings End Lumber (Branford, Darien, elsewhere). Or you could drive down to 'Jersey.
Bruce, What are you using the teak for? If you want I can mail you a hunk of afrormosia for what I paid for it - which was about half the price of teak IIRC.
What I have is 2" X 6 X long, unplaned. I have been very happy with the finish I can get on afrormosia, and it looks about the same as the teak on the boat.
Chris I have three 3" (7.62cm) hockey puck LEDs that run on 12VDC purchased from the local home center. I'd like to mount them on a piece of teak. I plan to mount it on the ceiling of the cabin right next to the compression post. I'll check it out!
For this fix I'm probably going to laminate a few pieces of luan and stain it to match the rest of the woodwork. The panel is at the end of the v-berth so nobody really sees it. The link that Frank sent looks great except the shipping is high. I go through Marathon every year around Thanksgiving so I plan to stop in and pick some wood that I need.
