Attached are photos of the boat & trailer. I would really prefer to sell it as is, because I don't have time to part it out and dispose of the remains. It is sitting on a nice trailer that can easily be refurbished to go anywhere, anytime. I towed the boat home to Texas from Atlanta in 2004 and it has been sitting on my property untouched ever since.
In your other thread you said you'd be parting it out, and several folks (myself included) expressed interest in specific parts.
You say here you want to sell it whole....but the title to this thread also expresses a part out.
So? Which is it?
I know Howard is interested in your cabinets....and I expressed interest in your storm jib. (see other thread)
It's usually good form to honor posts in order....first come, first served of course...so it can be confusing if you have/maintain more than one thread on the subject. Probably be best to do the whole deal here in the Swap as it's most appropriate, but folks have already made posts and are "in line" so to speak. Should probably get that sorted once you decide how you're going to proceed.
I'm just putting myself back in line for the hatch boards (I think I was second in line on the other thread). I've tried emailing you twice with no responses.
I tried to post early this morning, but it didn't "take" for some reaaon. I would really like to sell everything as is and be done with it, because I also have a Starwind 22 on a trailer on my property, and a unter 25 that I want to pull out from Canyon Lake and then decide what to do with it (probably sell). I have the opportunity to sink the boat at a private lake that is being set up as a dive park, but they don't have a deep launch boat ramp, so I don't want to keep it around any longer. I would like to wait a week or two to see if I can get a buyer for boat and trailer before I start parting it out. I will sell one and maybe both sets of the hatchboards, though. They are straight and true with no blemishes except for a water spot on the upper left corner of the top board, and it is on the inside of the cabin. It is a lot less visible than I remembered. Capt. Sam, there ain't no photos yet. My wife tried to upload pictures off her ipad last night, but couldn't figure out how to. She just bought it on Sunday, so she is learning as she goes. I'll get her to keep trying. They are in San Anto tonight getting my daughter ready for college (another reason to liquidate boats), so she won't get it done tonight.
Please email me back (alex at phred dot org) about a set of hatchboards since I haven't had any responses when I've sent you forum email. I'm ready to pay.
Sorry about the emails. I use my Army account (AKO) because it is secure, but unfortunately it is a little too secure. They treat most non military emails as spam, and they filter them heavily so that links won't work. I just use it at work to see who is responding, and then I answer on this site when no one is looking, or when I'm off duty.
If you choose to join the C25-250-Capri 25 International Association, then you would be able to post groups of photos to the member-restricted site. That is accessed from the top of this page - "Assn Members Area".
