So, David, Do I need to add an option to Rotate the images that you upload
I looked at the original size of the uploaded images and was surprised to see they were height: 1936px; width: 2592px;
If you use your graphics program to shrink them to around 550px x 400 px, then the uploader will not have to shrink them so much and thus retain a better quality.
Uploaded images will be resized to fit inside a 550px by 400px rectangle.
Here's the result when I resized it before uploading
Minimal Reduction This image was originally height: 1936px width: 2592px, I used my PC`s graphic program to rotate it and resize it to 400px tall(as it was a portrait image) and uploaded it.

I also updated the uploader program to include the 'Forum Grey' background color, ideal for displaying in the forum posts.
Despite that, it looks like a great job on the dink. Envious that you have such a nice looking and more robust dink then mine.
Yes, I saw that they were getting rotated from the way they showed up in Picasa & Google+,, but figured they were still showing what I wanted to show, you might just have to tilt your head a bit. A rotator in the album would be a great addition.
I'm sure Picasa has the ability to re-size as well, I've never bothered before, most forums auto-resize so things just fit regardless of original size. No slam on you at all, I know Snitz isn't the easiest forum software to administer.
I also noticed that if you navigate to: Home > Gallery > Member Logon > Manage My Albums > Album Contents > View Album (in upper right corner of viewer widget), I get sent to an Oops page on Chrome:
Oops, Google Chrome could not find . (notice the period after "find")
I rejoined so I could upload my old photo albums but the uploader chocked on 150 picts at a time. Rats. I guess it will be a month before I get around to reducing the image size and uploading the photos. Double rats, (personal mantra, "never pass up a chance to make things better"), I will need to rename and regroup them all to generate a more rational progression of photos, it may be several months lol.
I love the Avon project, nice work. I am afraid I would have green hypalon.
Thanks! I also 303'd the whole boat and scrubbed it to get most of the accumulated dirt off. Hopefully the 303 will keep some of the grime from the cement plants on either side of our marina off, or at least help minimize it.
It'll get it's first workout for the year tomorrow. We're going crabbing with one of my best friends and his son. He wants to take the Avon out with his son to set the pots while Rita & I bring SL out into the bay. We'll rendezvous somewhere on the bay so the crab pots get some extra soak time.
I'm a bit concerned since it'll be a first run with the new outboard, but probably nothing to be worried about. It's a brand new engine, so it should be fine. They'll have oars, a handheld VHF, PFD's, and his cell phone in a waterproof pouch, plus he's been sailing since he was a kid, his dad sails a gorgeous Hallberg Rassy, so I'm not overly concerned. His son is stoked about the trip.
FYI, I have just completed an update to the Member's area. Members can now upload up to 10 images in a single step. Of course it will take quite a while dependent upon your upload speed and the size of the images.

Always more than willing to support our cousins across the pond. Heck, I'm even taking a Brit crabbing/sailing today, two in fact, both he and his sons are dual nationals, but only one's coming with us.
Thanks for adding the ganged upload, that'll make things easier in the future.
