Bought from another forum member about 2 years ago, but never put it on my boat. The boat has been sold so I no longer need the forestay. Looks to be in good condition, comes with turnbuckle, but no clevis pin. The price for a new one from CD is $123. Price for mine is $60.00, plus shipping, just under 1/2 the new price. Email me through the forum, or call me at 6-1-5-4-3-0-1-4-9-6.

Don't know. I had a tall rig. I just uncoiled it for the first time since I bought it. It is 32' long, from the eye at the top to the end of the turnbuckle, about 1/2 closed, at the bottom. The screw post at the top of the turnbuckle is swaged onto the cable. The cable is in excellent condition, no meat hooks and no visible corrosion. Price drop to $50, plus postage.
Close but to be about a bit too long... See I dimension below. Was looking, seems many sites swap usage of I/J.. this one uses J as Jib perp, and I as forestay length. BOAT I J P E ISP JSP PY EY Capri 25 Catalina 30.8 9.8 26.5 9.5 30.8 9.8 Catalina 25 29.0 10.5 24.7 9.6 29.0 10.5 Catalina 25 TM 31.0 10.5 27.7 9.6 31.0 10.5
Oh, if the forestay on a Capri 25 were 2.4" longer, you might be able to get a decent amount of rake! ha, I could see that and the turnbuckle at the shortest setting ;)
Parts manual for the tall rig lists the forestay at 31'10". I measured mine at 32', but I could have been off an inch or so, depending on the turnbuckle setting, so it should work well for any tall rig boat. It is still available. Someone make me a reasonable offer, if you can use a replacement forestay.
Sorry, just saw the post. I'll take it to UPS/USPS for a weight check tomorrow and let you know.
