Hey guys, I got back from my BVI charter a week ago. We lived on a SunSail Jenneau Sun Odyssey 379. Pics are here and video is here. Both are supposed to be viewable by anyone, but it looks like Facebook has changed their policy so that you need to log in to view them. So if you don't have an account you're out of luck.

Yes, Paul, I should put these in your gallery, and I'll try to do that when I have time.

There's also a summary of our experience here on Sailnet.

We hoped that this trip would satisfy us until springtime, but unfortunately it has had the opposite effect and we're just dying to get out on our own boat again as soon as possible this spring.

Thanks Rick! Great Pics and video, they are just what we needed to see! Seriously! We will be headed out to our Charter of an Island Packet 380 on May 12. Seeing your video will help the admiral enormously.

I saw the pic of your routes, any chance you can post a detailed description?

Paul

Paul,

Did you see the descriptions I posted on Sailnet (linked above)? There's a lot of detail there, color-coded to the daily tracks that I posted. Have a look there first, and if there's anything else you need just let me know and I'll be happy to respond.

FYI, if you like to plot routes on your computer, don't use the NOAA chart 25641. It's way inaccurate in BVI. (You can see in the pic that some of my tracks went over land on that chart.) I calibrated NGA 25609 and 25611, which are way more accurate in that area. I can provide additional details if this matters to you. Some of this was discussed here on SailNet.
