Look on the "Manuals & Brochures" page of this website for Capri 25 "Selected Architectural Drawings". In there you will find a drawing of the "Lifting Harness Arrangement" recommended by Catalina, if that is what you mean by lifting strap.
That is what I am referring to, however there are no measurements and the scale is none. Is the strap 5 ft, 6ft, 4 1/2 ft, etc. rough measurements are what I am looking for.
I've never used one, so all I can do is guess. The vertical height needs to be high enough to clear the cabin top so that the line running to the base does not scrape the cabin top. The width is obviously from winch to winch as is the line to the mast base. I suspect since no dimensions are given in the detail, critical dimensions are not required and just a approximate layout similar to the drawing will work. The vertical line carries all of the weight the other lines are just for stability while in motion. Hope that helps.
