Don't know how it will work on boats pressure wash pump but a guy across the dock got one a couple of weeks ago. He had it hooked to marina water and said it really worked good. He liked it.
I can't say whether all those hoses work well, but I have purchased inexpensive hoses in the past, which paid off in a busted hose right away. Apparently, we have very high water pressure. I reckon the high pressure would make the hose expand pretty quick!
I'm naturally skeptical of things that are so aggressively marketed on informercials. Check the Amazon reviews - most of them are negative. However I have no personal experience with it. I have not even sat through their commercials.
For over 3 years I have used a Gilmour 5/8"x50' flat hose on the boat. It's designed for potable water, it drains very thoroughly, and the little reel they give you with it makes it very quick to wind up. (I fold the hose in half at its midpoint so it winds up twice as fast.) It fits in the C250 cockpit storage area perfectly. I think it would be a much better option.
The only negative is that it might be a little easier to kink than heavier duty hoses, but that's easily avoided by avoiding sharp bends.
Amazon seems to only have the 1/2"x25' version, so you should look around for the longer one. I found it at shipstore.com. It cost me $16.99 at the time, which in retrospect was a huge bargain.
The 'poor' reviews that I read seemed to indicate they have issues when the water pressure is high, should not be a problem on our boats. Not shrinking back to the original size would be an issue as it would loose the stowage advantage. At $20 in the local store it's not a price buster. I may just get one and write a review.

Most comments were you can not drink from them. Most responses were...Well don't look at the dock hoses at your marina they are not approved for drinking either and I've been drinking out of hoses all my life just let it run a bit till the water is cold.

One thing I'd wonder about the Pocket Hose is if it "grows" on my dock, it'll likely end up in the river. (Even ordinary hoses like to do that as they stiffen up with the water pressure.) But I'm interested in reports--I don't really like my little coily plastic hose I carry in the boat. My boat's water pump doesn't have the pressure of my dock water.
After 3 uses I've decided it's not for me. Can't seem to get either end tight enough to prevent leaking around the fittings, gaskets were in place, water pressure not a problem. First 2 times were at the boat flushing the outboard, even then it leaked at the fitting on the motor even though the flow was flushing. The plastic ends are hard to get a grip on to loosen when finished, had to use channel locks or large pliars. Same results at home, had a nozzle attached and while holding the nozzle open it still leaked around the nozzle fitting, no cracks seen in the fitting and the gasket in place. Thumbs down from me.
