Looking for a mainsail for a 25 tall, my 30 year old sail gave way. It can probably be repaired but at 30 years old....time for a newer one. Also looking for a new head sail, furler type. The head sail is starting to fray but is still going. Currently low budget boater...ie, can't afford a brand new set of sails.

jadboat I have just purchased a new racing sail and have a sail
that came with my boat that I would like to sell. I purchased a l984
boat in fall of 2010 and sailed last summer. The sail was new in
Nov of 2009 and had never been used, I sailed only one summer.
It is a Sail Care Inc Ford City PA> it is for a Catalina 25 T
6 oz, 2 x 2 battens 1 reef, cunningham, Insignias and numbers
the invoice which I have said it was shipped and paid on 5/21/10.
Price then was over $1,000. I would let it go for $600.00 plus UPS
or what ever. e mail jimd@alliedhandlingproducts.com
O also have 110 hank on jib for sale.

Ken,

I have an older main - in good condition with no tears or holes, but it is older

and a furling genoa in better condition that was on a CDI furler and has a brown Sunbrella UV cover.

These are for a tall rig.

If you are interested in these sails, please email me through the owners page for more info.

Not to take anything away from Ken's pursuit of replacement sails, however I too am looking for a nice Mainsail (partial battens) and a 150 Genoa for my Standard Rig C-25. If you have something that is still in good to great condition and for sale at a very reasonable price, PLEASE let me know.

I've got a 110 and a 150 that I might be willing to sell. Neither are new but they are not in bad condition. Both are hank-ons.

Ft Worth,

I'm getting a new main this week (I hope!).

I'd be happy to sell my original main (from '82 sail #2818). No rips, no tears, no patches; I don't believe it has any stains.

I have some pics taken yesterday I can send you. I did break a slug (also yesterday) that's the only damage I can think of.

I'm asking $300 and I'll eat the cost of shipping to TX.

I'll PM you and we'll pick it up there.

Ken

At this point, I think I have located a sail (from here) but thanks for all the responses. If this doesn't work out I will look into the other responses from here. Again thanks for posting and maybe some other members can benefit from the listings.

Good news, Mr Binky.

FWIW - I found this listing on eBay for a C25 TR main sail:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/catalina-25-mainsail-for-tall-rig-/321145715506?pt=Boat_Parts_Accessories_Gear&hash=item4ac5c6bb32&vxp=mtr

No relation to the seller; he could be an axe murderer (those poor axes).

Anyway, he wants the bidding to start at $200, but it hasn't.
