I'm Judy Blumhorst, and I'm an independent representative for Hyde Sails and proprietor of Hyde Sails of Northern California, and have an online store at Http://www.judybsails.com .
I have for sale an almost brand new, used twice, mainsail. It has one reef, one full length batten/ three leech battens, sail slides on the luff, Cunningham, C25 insignia. It is made of Challenge 6.03 High Modulus Dacron.
The story behind this sail is that my customer ordered a full batten mainsail and two reefs, but the Hyde production loft sent a mainsail with only one full batten, and only one reef. Rather than do extensive re-working on the sail, I had our loft make a brand new one for him. In the meanwhile, he used it twice.
This sail is a nearly-new, first quality Catalina 25 mainsail at a reduced price. My regular price for this sail is $633 + $30 shipping, but am offering this one at $533 + $30 shipping anywhere in the continental USA. (California residents are required to pay State Sales tax)
I'm thinking of ordering new sails and the prices at her site are tempting. What is your opinion of the quality of this sail? How has it held up? I haven't seen any negative reviews for her site.
