Good News - we're looking at buying a cottage! Bad News - The water's too shallow for the boat. Good News - the property we are considering is very affordable! Bad news - the property costs plus yacht club fees are too high for our 'toys' budget Good News - I can get a daysailor! Bad News - I have lotsa spares to clear out.
Anyone looking for 'stuff' should let me know. I have anchors, a bimini, storm sail, all kinds of stuff I never got around to using or stuff I have doubles of. Watch this space.
Once I get a few small jobs done on her, I'll add the boat and trailer proper to the listing.
Sad to let Iris go, but excited to move along to new adventures.
Sorry to hear you're selling Iris Chris, can you move into the Admiralty if you buy a day-sailor?
I've always said if we lived on the water, I'd be much more inclined to sail my old Venture cat or San Juan 21 than our C-250. I think in a perfect world where we lived right on the water, I'd probably have a 20' Sol Cat, a dry suit and a place to launch it easily.
I'll be watching for stuff to add to my stuff to sell to someone else later as well.
Thanks everyone, its looking lika a fun change, but we have to get our ducks in a row, which I am not doing very well. Too much fixing going on at the house to get anything else underway.
A few folks have asked about the Bimini. Tonight I'll try to get some pics posted. I also have a couple engines to go and an anchor or two. Not sure what else I'll dig up.

Hi Dusty - no roller furler. I wasn't planning on selling off any sails, but if things sit too long, I may rethink that.

Nope, I spent the weekend moving 3 tons of concrete to the dump. I'm getting there. Too many fires in the iron right now.
