I noticed this evening when we were leaving the boat that the wooden runners on the underside of the main hatch moved when Rita was dropping it back down from it's propped up position. I don't remember them moving before, but I also don't remember them not moving either.
Do your wooden rails move, or are they firmly fixed to the underside of your hatch?

I left my sunglasses on the boat yesterday so we stopped there on the way back from my nephew's BBQ this afternoon. Looks like I've got a new project, the wood is loose on both side of the hatch. It looks like it was just stuck on the underside of the hatch with maybe 5200? I didn't take a good look (Rita was waiting in the car in the hot sun), so I'll have to take a better look next time we're down there (probably next weekend) and figure out how it's attached and how to fix it.
