We had a new piece of stainless tubing welded on our stern pulpit. There's a little bit of bluing around the weld. The welder said a buffing wheel and some paste would clean it up.

I forgot to ask what kind of paste.

Any suggestions?

I would use the paste that comes with my Dremel kit.

But I really don't know any better.

Flitz would probably do it. It's a metal polish.

After you clean it the weld needs to be coated with Wichinox to prevent rusting.
