...that, and staying home in 50-70 conditions. Of course, when you're half way from China to San Francisco, you don't have that option... There you are!
I'm not an expert at this, but that did not look like 50-70 kts to me. Based on what I've read in textbooks (I avoid those conditions), it looked like Beaufort force 6.

The wind might have been higher when the leading edge of the storm first passed through, but at the time the video was taken, it looked more like Force 6.
Yup... Remember that this recovery was about an hour and a half after the MOB. That alone is sobering! Wait for 90 minutes and then reply to this... It's a LONG TIME!
