I'm starting to see items on the net about Benelli outboards, one ad showed a 5 hp 4 stroke, that said it weighed only 24 lbs. I wonder if they meant kilos, which would be closer to the Merc/Tohatsu/Nissan ones here. Although the Benelli name is well known for firearms, it appears that a company with that name also makes jetskis in Europe that may be coming to the states soon. Maybe they are also in the o/b market, or want to be.

Edit: Ok, found a link. Weights are fairly normal.

I can't help but think they would be well made... and if I was 20 years younger ( and 40 lbs lighter ) I'd take that street bike.

Interesting motor to keep an eye on.

( OK 40 years younger )

The "Honda Cloan" (sic) looks more like my speed...

The "Services" page is black--an omen? No mention of shaft lengths, dealers, prices,... Somebody's taking a stab at being an importer... I'd wait.

Yeah, that was my guess, too. I'm not endorsing them, just curious.
