The tensioning line runs under the boom from starboard to port which creates a lot of friction if I untie the bitter end of the line to loosen or tension the jacks. Is there a better way, may with blocks so that the line runs freely?
That also would be desirable if I want to devise a system to retract the lines towards the boom and/or mast. What would be the best way to accomplish this (I am prepared to go to the mast although it would be nice to be able to do this without leaving the cockpit).
