In another discussion, the Brion Toss book "The Complete Rigger's Apprentice" was recommended. However, on Amazon, there are several negative reviews on this book. Based on reviews alone, the Henderson and Brewer book "Understanding Rigs and Rigging" looks like a better choice. Is anybody familiar with this book?
I have both <b>"The Complete Rigger's Apprentice"</b> by Brion Toss and <b>"Understanding Rigs and Rigging"</b> by Richard Henderson. They're on loan to a neighbor right now, but I've read and recommend both. I'd say they complement each other. The Toss book is more about the hands on details of maintaining rigging. The Henderson book is more about the advantages and dissadvantages of various offshore rig design options. When I rerigged my C-25 it was very helpful to have both books available.
