Well, I've gone and done it, this time! I have traded my C-25 SR/SK "Sea Legs" for a C-22 (boat, OB motor, and trailer). For those that were not aware, "Sea Legs" has a damaged Keel bunk which occurred when she was on a lift and the keel cable broke, causing the keel to swing down and crashed through the keel bunk. I was attempting to get her scheduled for repairs, however just never got around to it.

The local club was hosting a C-22 Regatta and I was definitely interested in participating. One of the other club members bought the C-22, and was redoing the bottom. Sanded, patched, and painted with an expoxy. The boat hull looked pretty good. When he offered to swap his ready to go C-22 for my damaged C-25, I jumped at the offer.

I still have my blue C-25 SR/FK, so I am still a loyal C-25 owner....

Pretty cool stuff, huh?

Having a ready to go boat in an active OD fleet is always better than a bigger boat that needs to repair... good move!

now lets see the race results!

That's one way of getting out of doing repairs. Now comes the dilemma of which boat to go out on!

I went back to a 22' foot boat for the better feel. C 25s are wonderful boats but they are not light on their feet.
