After we got everything packed up, we realized we didn't have room for the bimini in the pick-up truck. We don't leave it on the boat while raising and lowering the mast. So I threw this together and strapped it on with four bungy cords. Easy in every respect!
I leave ours on the boat. Normally when the bimini is folded and the mast is down for transportation the mast extends past the push pit and I tie the folded bimini to it and let it hang off the stern. I tie it to the push pit while lowering the mast.
