Catalina 25 Swing Keel Standard Rig(1985) located in Solomons, MD.

This is NOT a project boat! I have added many additional features to this boat and the bottom was recently painted in August. Keel zinc anodes were replaced at that time. This boat is CLEAN and in great aesthetic shape.

Boat includes the following features:
-Sails in very good shape to include a Main, Jib, Genoa and two symmetrical spinnakers.
-Spinnaker pole, topping lift, downhaul and spinnaker halyard recently installed.
-New boom vang.
-Battery charger and dual batteries.
-Dual 12 volt USB charger port for charging phones, tablets, etc.
-All new mast wiring and mast lights. New through-deck wiring connector and new 12 volt wiring running back to the 12 volt panel.
-Mercury 6 hp four-stroke outboard maintained professionally with new fuel tank, hose and primer bulb. This motor does NOT have ethanol related problems. ($1,800 new)
-Interior cushions in great shape (one has a split in the fabric which is not visible when installed).
-Two high quality stainless steel rod holders mounted on stern pulpit. ($100 each)
-VHF radio (not yet installed however antenna lead is run to radio location).
-New lifeline covers.
-Swim ladder with new rubber feet.
-New keel winch.
-Necessary dock lines, life vests, throwable cushion, safety equipment, anchor, etc.

COMFORT while at the dock!
-Flat screen television bulkhead mounted and rigged with a coaxial through-hull input.
-Portable Cruisair hatch mounted air conditioner.

Hey Joe - Nice boat and it looks like a good deal. For what its worth, I have a 1984 that is almost the same. The PO owned a trailer manufacturing company in NJ (Sea Lion) and he built a custom roller trailer for mine. If you find someone that is looking to get a trailer, I'm sure he would be interested in building one. The owners's name is Lou and you can mention my name.

Good luck,

I do appreciate the info as many potential buyers will likely be interested in a trailer. I really love the boat but I'm looking to move up. Thanks for the info.

Wanted to add that I do have the hardware to support the mast on the boat when unstepped.

Joe - If you are in a real jam, my trailer would be available for rent until late October. Of course I'm in CT so you would have to arrange to get it and return it. I don't have a vehicle that can tow it. Best of luck with the sale, have you listed it with any of the services like Yacht Finder?

Best regards,

Craigslist, Ebay and this forum...I might branch out a bit more today. Haven't tried yacht finder. Appreciate the offer to rent your trailer. I also have a hydraulic transport trailer at work that could be used if need be. I would also be willing to deliver within reason on the Chesapeake. We just returned from a trip to St. Michaels on the boat and it truly is a lot of boat for a 25.

Put it on Sailing Texas. They list boats all of the country, not just Texas.

This sale has been suspended as I have received a letter of intent from a buyer. If for some reason this sale does not go through I will relist. Thanks.

I hope it's not for full price, sight unseen, plus some substantial amount to cover shipping to another country, the balance of which you would return to the buyer as a cashier's check. I've received a few of those letters...

David...fortunately this is a genuine couple that travelled from out of state. They've looked at 5 or 6 other Catalina 25's and were very impressed with the condition of mine. The boat is going to a good home. I am familiar with the scam you mention though.
