We just returned from a 5-day trip to northern CA and southern OR. Had a great trip. We visited a cousin in Medford, OR who will be celebrating her 90th birthday next month, and still quite mobile with sharp senses.
Landed in Sacramento and drove a loop near the coast going through the redwoods up to Eureka and Arcata, over to Medford, and back on I-5 to Sacramento. total driving, 980 miles. Went by Mt. Shasta, over 14,000 ft high, and over Lake Shasta, water level down over 150 ft. from full pool!
