I thought this was pretty cool too, when I first saw it. But does it simply follow you or can you "steer" it? if it just follows you, you'll be limited to video from behind the boat, right? I read the FAQ and I think it just follows you. What if you want video of your boat sailing toward the camera, or on the beam?

IIRC, Tomas's video demonstrates both. Apparently it uses GPS headings and positions to figure out where to station itself behind, to either side, or ahead of your own position and heading. It's just some geometry.
The bigger limitation (from what I saw) is it doesn't fly around under your control while you're stationary. (Does it do both?)

The problem with the Lily is so far early test show it doesn't work as advertised without at least moderate effort. Check out YouTube where several people have done reviews.
