Do any of you know of a C22 sailor/racer who might like a virtually brand new 150% Dacron genoa (only used twice). Cost $800 and I'll sell it for $400 + freight. (I'll even pay a 10% commission...!)

Yes Gary, it is a hank-on. I assume it could be used on a C25, but I've no idea what it would calculate as. I don't have a C22 handbook anymore so I don't know the dimensions of the rig.

David = it was made by John Bartlette in Austin, Texas. One of the best sailmakers in the Country (Ask Chuck Shaw how good they are)
Tom - I'll split the freight with you.

Bartlett does make good sails. The Sail Warehouse web site is a great place to compare sail dimensions. For comparison, in feet: C25 std 110 jib: Luff 27.16 Leech 24.58 Foot 12.82 LP 11.50 C22 150 genoa: Luff 26.25 Leech 24.50 Foot 13.00 LP 12 The 2 sails are almost the same size, but I expect that the C22 genoa was made from a slightly lighter weight cloth. For non-racing, it could function as a working jib on a C25. The only significant dimensional differences are that it is .91 ft. shorter and the LP is .5 ft. longer.

Derek, after getting clearance from my Doctor (shoulder surgery), I finally got a chance to test the sail out, it was money well spent, thanks. Crossed the line second just edging out a hunter 26 and Santana 20. The only downside was Chuck and Confetti wasn't out there today so I couldn't harass him around the course. Again, thanks.
Thanks Tom. I am glad that it is working for you. I now have to live vicariously via you guys stories!
