Be aware though that the bulbs they used changed at some point. The original bulbs look like the one on the right, new fixtures use the bulb on the left:

Sorry about the link problem. It's on this site's Manuals & Brochures link at the left. Go to the post-1988 C25 manual and scroll down to the electrical systems section. It's the electrical diagram for the post-1988 C25, showing bulb types.

Dale, On the off chance your travels take you through Seattle, check out Fisheries Supply. They carry Imtra LED replacements for the Aqua Signal 25. They come with adapters for either the pointy or dimpled versions of the bulb. I've been quite happy with them and have replaced all my running lights with them, except my mast head, which has a Dr. LED bulb (which I'm just as happy with, except the price).

Greetings I too ran into an issue trying to find a replacement bulb for my 82 C25, my solution was to 'carefully' drill thru the dimples in the bulb holder, now I can use the pointed bulbs. Since I was going LED I went one further and actually soldiered the bulb in. So far so good, nice and bright while hardly moving the amp meter. The LED I chose cost about $15.
Solder will work well for a season but beware that dissimilar metals will inevitably corrode. Check it each season or at least be aware that problems may occur.

I should have added that I smeared a little silicone grease over the soldiered joint. I've found that it works for years keeping the water and condensation out. Jan
Thanks all. I was able to get bulbs at WM in Portland. Boat is pulled and am completing a few chores before heading for the San Juans. 2 weeks on the Salish Sea coming right up!
