Here's a video on the massive 320' clipper ship Peking, (not including the 57' bowsprit) which has been docked at NY's South Street Seaport for years, and is going home. Think of a football field...

Watch a guy climb down the edge of one of the sails.

That was a great clip -- but when was it filmed? Looks like the 1950's to me
