I'm sure this has come up, but I can't find it in a search (slow computer). Has anyone painted their 25 fin keel while on the trailer. I'm thinking of jacking up the back, shoring up with braces, then do the same to the front. If anyone has photos please let me know.

Does your trailer have fixed bunks or pads, or does it have rollers?

I will be painting my wing keel bottom on the trailer this afternoon. I'll bet a fin keel is easier with the extra foot of height. LUXURY!

I recently did just that. I moved bunks around as needed and completed the work. The hull is surprisingly rigid and with a little trust you can do what you need.

I did mine a few years ago. I purchased two sailboat stands from Defender and did exactly as explained by raising the stern with a 3-Ton auto jack, set the stands and lowered the jack leaving the boat high off the rollers. The front rollers stayed in place. I then removed the rear roller assembly and worked on the stern. I repeated the process for the bow half. Worked fine but a lot of work either way. I'm on an inland lake so I don't have to do it very often. mine is still in good shape 3 seasons later.
