Can anyone point me to the largest capacity plastic gas tank that will fit in my '95 tank locker?

Also, is this eye ring in the tank locker standard? What is that for?

(The tank locker is getting cleaned out tomorrow morning!)

Thanks,

-Richard

I'm not sure, but i suspect it's a spot to hook a lanyard connecting the seat/hatch cover to the boat.

mine has the layard, but i can't recall how it's attached in the locker.

as for fuel tank, i believe mine still has the original tank, and that catalina used a custom fuel tank for the space. others have reported trouble finding an exact fit. i would take measurements and then go see what might fit

Here's my thread on a search for a plastic tank to replace my rusted out metal one: http://www.catalina-capri-25s.org/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=23405

I ended up with a Duratank. It's a tight fit, but it pops in and won't move. I bring smaller gas tanks with me to fill it with, because it'd be too much of a hassle to get it in and out of the boat on a regular basis.
