Hello again group!

Here are some more trailer questions from a friend of mine who is trying to get a Catalina 25 swing keel.
<ul><li>"I would like to what make and model <i>roller</i> trailer are y'all using?"</li></ul>

<ul><li>"What, if anything, did you have to do to make your trailer fit your Catalina 25?"</li></ul>

<ul><li>"How well would you say it launches?" (And how would you describe the launching process? Ramp angle? Depth required? Tongue extension use? Tow vehicle submerged how deep?)</li></ul>

<ul><li>"Could you please post pictures that you think might be helpful in selecting or fitting a trailer?"</li></ul>

This friend of mine is making a sincere effort to track down a usable trailer, but he needs help figuring out which one to get, and how to make sure it will fit, and work with, a boat he hasn't actually seen out of the water yet.

Thanks for you indulgence and help!<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>

Hi Leon,

A few months ago Bill Sloan was building a trailer for his C-25. I took a bunch of photos & measurements for him, and I still have the emails and photos. If you think your friend might find them useful, I'd be glad to forward them to him and/or you ... just let me know what email address to send them to.

Leon: As mentioned too many times, I have an ollder '78 EZ Loader with 32 rollers. It launches and retrieves great! I don't use the extension normally, but it has come in handy on more shallow ramps. My bumper gets submerged on my F250 and wheels sometimes get a bit wet, but no problem in fresh water. I have repainted my non-galvanized trailer, and no longer use a ramp in salt water; I sling in.....I am very satisfied with this old trailer. I can do bottom maintenance, etc. I have never experienced any "dimpling" or flexing of the hull as some folks have warned about with a roller trailer.....I don't think EZLoader builds this trailer any more for C25s, but a good used one would be worth getting, IMHO.
