Seems like things are getting a little slow around here lately. Not too unusual this time of the year but this year seems slower.

Has anyone ever looked into creating a "forum" decal we could attach to our boats (and car)? Maybe something shaped like a burgee with our logo and the web link?

`I think that's an excellent idea GaryB. It might get a few more members.

Will I be paid for the free advertisement? Seriously when I by a new car I always tell the dealership, Do not put any stickers or licence plate frames with their name on it on my car unless they are willing to pay me for being a rolling billboard for them. I suppose that having a burgee or sticker for this forum is not the same because its a choice if you want them. By the way I have a Burgee.

You will be paid for the "free" advertisement in the form of this forum continuing to exist and the information that is shared.

And we might get some new members!

I had an Association sticker on a car I no longer own... I think I got it with my membership "welcome". I'm not sure it recruited anyone, but I was proud to show it.

Dave That's right. There is a sticker and it is available in the Ships Store.

No Gary but you could have it printed on your spin or plastered on the side of the boat like I see on boats that seriously race.

So I recreated the association logo in Adobe Illustrator by request a while ago ( the one you see right at the top). Wouldn't be much effort to go update or modify it.

Which logo Rob? I think either of them would look good!

No, I mean I have the first one in digital vector (scalable) format. No pixels. Below is a png made from it.
