I have to replace my cracked forward Bomar hatch lens. I am aware that Catalina direct offers the trapezoid lens and hatch's. What I do not know is do I need to replace the gasket also if I replace the lens. Is this an easy fix or a nightmare to do?

There are many videos on U-TUBE that address lens replacement in hatches. They can give you an idea of the process involved. I can't say about the specific Bomar hatch but they will give you a general idea and the materials that are needed.
