I just want to thank the C25 skipper who started the discussion on mast gates last fall. One of you fine gentlemen pointed me in the direction of a guy who makes them. I ordered a pair from him (Joe Martinek of Colorado) and they are exactly what the doctor ordered! The craftsmanship is top notch and they look great. I'm looking forward to putting them on soon. I didn't even know I needed them until I saw the picture one of you skippers posted and then I knew my sailing life would be improved! What a great site to exchange information. Thanks!
That's right Gerdo! It was you! I remembered opening that thread and asking, "What the heck is a mast gate?". I don't think I really figured it out until you posted a picture.(I think it was you)
Now I'm a happy man... at least until I crave the next "thing-a-ma-jig"
