Looking to see if anyone has the length required for the Jib halyard for a TM that is run to the cockpit. I'm not near the boat and need a number quick...Thanks!!!!!!

Nobody? Hmmm... 30' (mast height) + 36' (probably a little over the forestay length) + 8' (out and back from the mast) plus a tail... Unless I got a more credible answer (and I question my own credibility here), I'd buy at least 90' and snip some off when it's all rigged. Better than being just a hair too short!

Going by the Catalina diagram on the "jib sheet length" topic it says for a tall rig, 83ft. I guess that's back to the cockpit. The forstay is 31.7.

A sheet and a halyard are different lines.

Dave, The box on the right. Jib halyard 83ft. The box on the left says jib sheet 65ft

I just went to catalina direct and "borrowed" the length of the halyard they sell. It is the perfect length when ran to the cockpit.
