That's it, I've had enough.......every day for two weeks I check the parts bin on e-bay for a whisker pole........within 24 hours of ordering a new one...there it is, slightly used, half the money....I give up.<img src=icon_smile_angry.gif border=0 align=middle>

I've been looking for the last couple of weeks, but I can't find the one you're referring to. I found a new one from "cargolargo," but nothing used. Do you have a link?

I found it! I was able to sneak in the high bid with less than a minute to go. 63.00 shipped is a lot cheaper than West Marine. Thanks for the tip Oscar.

You're very welcome..I guess that you, as I have, ignored Forespars sizing recommendations and went with the lite pole. Do you plan on sticking it in a 150? I'm just going to use it for the drifter up to 10 or so knots and then maybe another five on the 110. Anything over that and the thing is a handful with just the main.......

Oscar, I've not needed a pole with the drifter... its light cloth will fill and hold shape with a whisper of air...

I have had a couple of ocassions while cruising to set all sail and go directly off wind with the jib poled out one side and the main and drifter on the other with a preventer on the main... the boat moves quite well.
