The "Catalina 25" vintage logo is finally in production.
They look just like the originals except the edges are straight - not tapered. They will also have an adhesive backing.
As I am doing this in my spare time and I don't have any order processing facilities I need to employ KISS to maintain my sanity:
(1) Logos will be sold in pairs only (2) $30* a pair includes packaging and 1st class mail for US addresses (those outside the US please e-mail me separately.) (3) Only one version (as described above) will be offered (4) USPS Money Order made payable to Steve Madsen, 3281 Maine Drive, Allison Park, PA 15101.
Don't forget to provide your physical mailing address . . . If you supply your e-mail address I'll notify you when it mails.
*I will just break even at this price which includes the sign makers materials, labor and overhead, shipping to me, my inventory carrying, packaging, shipping and travel to USPS. If you have questions, let's post them here to minimize duplicity.

Now here's a real life lesson in market research! There appeared to be (at least in my mind) a lot of interest in vintage logo replacements. So much so that I almost spent $1,200 to have a mold made (including a minimum purchase quantity of 50 pieces) of the original thinking I'd sell them in no time and would probably need to order a second batch within months. Hah! To date I've shipped six pairs. This proves the old saying "Good marketing is attaining a high level of understanding of what really is going on in the market - not simply wishful thinking in someone's mind" Whew! Anyway, whoever is interested I've got four sets of logos packaged and ready to go.
Steve, I thought you were making these logos available for members only so I finally sent my membership dues to join the organization about a month ago. I was waiting to receive notification that I was officially a member before ordering the logo. Have not received any notification yet, but I will go ahead and order a set this week.
YOU DA MAN! I hope you don't take it in the shorts on this ... after all that supposed interest in the beginning, it makes us look bad if we don't pony up and buy them now that they are ready!
I need to know the total in order to send you the money for a pair of the logos. I ws going to send $30.37, but that doesn't sound right to me. Shipping costs are more that 37 cents, aren't they?
Thanks, OJ. The money's on the way. That sounds better than "the check's in the mail", doesn't it? Thanks again for the effort that you have put into getting these things made.
OJ - are these still available ? If so I want to order a pair - I live in Mount PLeasant ,SC and will send the money order if they are available. Thanks Bill O'Brien

I just got my new logos and they look great!!! They appear to be an exact duplicate of the original Catalina logo ( sometimes pictures lie )and the installation process seems too simple to work. I also appreciate the instructions and included warning about the "i".
Thanks again for your time and effort to make our boats look new again.
Yesterday, I was in Indianapolis, In. at Sailboats,Inc. and told the owner, Tom Moore, about your logos. He sells used Catalinas and is a certified Catalina repairman/ dealer(?). At any rate, I saw a 22' with a broken logo and thought that he may be interested in talking to you... so, I gave him the web address for this forum. I hope that you don't mind a dealer contacting you, and he may only want to know where he can direct his customers. I told him that you have developed the 25' logo only, thus far.
