I can't believe I can't figure this out. I'm sure it's something simple, but can anyone tell me how to open up the light at the top of the mast (I think it's called the anchor light) to change the bulb? <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks,

Hi Ben,

If your light is the typical C25 anchor light, it's a "bayonet" style. To get the lense off, push the lense down and turn it counter clockwise. (Righty tighty, lefty loosey) The lense should turn about 3/16". Now you can lift the lens clear of the base and light bulb. It's a snug fit, so expect that a little effort is needed.

Thanks Bill. I thought it was probably something simple like that, but I didn't want to try to muscle it too much and end up breaking something.
