I don't remember how long I have been coming to the Catalina Association web sites. I do know that every so often someone comes on looking for a trailer. I have looked around where I live and over the years have found only two. One for a fin keel that I

Douglas: Just talked today via e-mail with a guy who might want to borrow/rent my trailer to get his boat to Idaho. Honestly, no more than my trailer is used, I wouldn't mind doing a "trailer partner" or "rent" situation. Actually, seems like location

I dont know Gary. Most of the prices I have seen are all the same or near enough. It doesnt cost a lot more to ship several trailers as opposed to one as they are stackable. The manufacturer would do the shipping. It would be cheaper per trailer to ship 3

Hi Guys,

The bulk purchase ideas sounds good to me.

I may be selling my power boat soon and am thinking of getting another c-25.

We should do this deal directly with the manufacturer so as to try to pick up some of the margin they give dealers.

Hey guys:

If you are really interested in securing some trailers, give me the particulars and I will contact Flowers Marine in Oak Harbor. I purchased one for my ODay Mariner for $1200.00 a few years ago, and am still in contact with them. They sell EZ

Ken: My trailer's okay (EZ-loader) but getting older. If I could find a new one for $1200 I'd jump at it. EZ-Loader factory, I think, told me though that they don't build sailboat trailers anymore. Mine has a tongue extention and surge brakes on its d

I would love to have a trailer for my fin keel. Then all I would have to do would be purchase a new truck to pull it with. That comes right after getting my wife to go along with the idea. Hey Ken any ideas here.

The Ezloader trailer I have for my swing keel is excellent. I'd highly recommend them. Caulkins are a close second but I don't think ever saw them make one for the C25.

A trailer let's you sail at 55 mph and stretches my range from Canada to the Sea o

I am also in the market for a trailer for my 84 Cat 25 fixed keel. I'm in upstate NY. Hummmmm, NJ? That's not too far to drive for a trailer, could pick it up at the factory. Anybody got the address?

I would like to ask those of you with a fin keel what you use for a tow vehicle. Im wondering how large I would have to go. Also do you rope launch, sling or extended tongue ?

My wife and I got a 86 fin keel catalina 25 this past july. We got it home on a trailer for an 27' boat. The trouble with this was that the keel was infront of the double axle instead of on it causing an extream toung weight. I had a new one made by tr

Hey Guys,
Championtrailers.com builds trailers. They are in Slidell Louisiana about mid-USA location wise. They were going to build me a trailer for my c25 until I found a "great deal" on a slightly used trailer=$3,000. Anyway, just wanted to share, ya

as far as that goes, there's a reputable manufacturer about a half mile from my office in SW Louisiana... and when ya'll all come down to pick them up I'll spring for the crawfish boil.

Check out www.trailex.com
They are in Canfield Ohio and make aluminium sailboat trailers big enough for a C-25 with any keel.
They have specs for C-25.
I have seen their work. It's good.

Maybe a mortgage would be necessary.
Trailex says roughly 5 grand for a Catalina 25 trailer.
But just think, you could be the first one on the block to have one!
No painting necessary and a tremendous reduction in overall weight.
They are great traile

Sam,
I have no intention of ever trailering my 25 but the offer of a free crawdad boil might maybe give me reason to reconsider<img src=icon_smile.gif border=0 align=middle>
