Hello all,

Would there be anything wrong with taking my C25 thru one of those do-it-yourself car washes? The ones where you hose down the vehicle, soap it up, then rinse it? This is going to be the easiest way, I think, to wash my boat.

Thanks!

That's what the yard did to mine--without the soap--it's called power-washing. Soap would've made it better. Go for it!

Watch out where you point the high pressure sprayer. It is possible to blow out caulking and adhesive compounds with high pressure water. Many marinas refuse to use high pressure washing other than on the hull.

I've done that for years with my powerboats... everytime I come out of the saltwater it's straight to the car wash. Last step is to put the lever to 'wax', it shines everything up nicely. (for awhile).
