Or did the motor get laid down on the wrong side ?

Currently maintaining two holes in the water...'77 Venture 23 and new to the family,
'78 Catalina 25

Now there's a good question... If so, there was probably oil elsewhere inside the cowling. I know because last fall a guy at our boatyard carried my Honda witht the wrong side up, and after just a minute that way, there was oil everywhere.

OK, 2-strokers--you can have some fun with that...

No the motor wasn't laid down on the wrong side. It has been mounted on my boat the whole time. (at least until the mobile tech took it back to the shop....and he laid it on the correct side in his truck)

Either way....3 strikes and this 6 month old motor is out.

I got the info on the "lemon law." It appears that this definitely fits within the guidelines. So, I'll get a new motor and some ass kissing one way or another.

I misunderstood the guy from Honda. They are NOT going to reimburse me for the repairs, and they are delivering my same old motor to me.

I WILL ESCALATE THIS, and I'll get satisfaction. Stay tuned.
