last year I think someone posted a message to the forum about adding a spring to assist in lifting the outboard on a standard cat25 motor mount. They listed an actual spring part number.

Does anyone know how to find the posting?

i did this and it works well
i put stoppers on the end of the springs in case would slip off the mount.
may be a little too much spring, i have to push it hard to get it down
