I am the new owner of a c250 wb # 44. Early model, I gather, and retro-fitted with 3rd generation rudder but with a push-pull steering rudder and the original centerboard steel cable. So far so good. ( we sailed a Mirage 25 fin keel for the last 3 years ) I read most of the postings in your forum and I must thank you for the support you all so freely contribute.
I intend to keep this boat for a long time ( hull number value goes up, I gather ???) and promise to take the best of care of her as long as I can.
There it is fellow sailors, my commitment and my thanks to your group.
Thank you again and Merci beaucoup like we say up here.
Welcome aboard. I have found this forum to be of immeasurable value over the last 3 years. I studied it for about 6 months prior to deciding on a C250 and can't begin to define the value since then. It's like have your own staff of experts ready and waiting. Best of luck with your new boat.
