These are some pictures of the PSCC Puget Sound Cruising Club. This is a no fee club open to all types of boats. They have mucho blue water sailing time and are a great group of people. http://groups.msn.com/PugetSoundCruisingClubPSCC
They sail mostly out of Shilshole marina in Seattle but there are members scatered all over the sound. These pictures are of the anual Salmon Bake at Blakely Harbor on Bainbridge Island. Our next cruise is to Oro Bay at the end of August and is on the PSCC site. Hope some of you will show up and join us. Check out the PSCC web site.

Great photos! Egads, how I love the San Juan/Gulf Islands! I would seriously consider retiring to Bellingham if my company's health plan (Kaiser/Permanente) ever expands there. How is it that you had the cruise to Bainbridge Island? I heard somewhere that the whole island is privately owned with no public facilities?

Blakely Harbor is directly across from Seattle on Bainbridge Island. I know it looks rustic and it is. Not much sence in anyone building here its one of the most poluted places in the U.S. It use to be the largest wood mill in the world. Creosote was also made and used there and the harbor is still lined with it just below a few layers of soil or sand. There are many spots in the mid or south sound that are every bit as beautifull as the San Juans. In the summer its empty and quiet.

Larry,
Kaiser is Group Health up here. I wouldn't recomend it as a health care system, but you can change your coverage.
