For anyone that is interested...The Outrigger Yacht Club of Lake Norman, Nc presents the Pursuing the Cure for Huntington's Disease Regatta on October 3,4,5 2003. A charity event benefitting the Huntington's Disease Society of America and presented in the popular pursuit format.

Two days of racing and lots of social activities - Friday night Skipper's Meeting and Cookout with beer donated by Carolina Beer & Beverage (Carolina Blonde), Sat afternoon Pig-pickin'(cash bar), Sunday steak dinner donated and catered by Outback Steakhouse with beer donated by Sam Adams. Lake Norman fleet 5 hosted the Cat 25 Nationals a few years ago...I intend to get the fleet back up and running in the next year or two when my responsibilities to the Outrigger calm down.

Hi Doug,
The good folks at Select Yachts, Butch, Adele, and Jack Weber (who was my broker) sold my Catalina 22 for me a few weeks ago. I bought my Catalina 25 from Ted Kaperonis through the Hull Company. all on Lake Norman.
If you see any of those folks at your get together, tell them I said Hi.

I know Butch and Adele well...Butch is in out Club and he runs the Spring Pursuit Regatta benefitting the Chuck Strange Foundation for Adaptive Sailing...A group dedicated to providing accessible sailboats for handicapped sailors.
