Just wanted to share a recent discovery for those wanting a hot shower on their C250. At the local GI Joes store here, we found a neat product. The unit is about the size of a car battery. The cover removes and serves as a reservoir for water. A hose attaches from the reservoir to a heating unit powered by the typical small round propane cannisters (all pieces fit inside the cover when stored). Assisted by a small pump (which comes as part of the entire unit), the water passes through the heating device for almost instant hot water via the included hose and shower head. A great idea for a boat like the C250. Price: $125 (last I checked)
I'll check at the store and pass on the name of the maker of this product for those interested - I'll post it on the forum. I have a sunshower as well which works great in the summer. However, for the colder cloudy days, this device is a good alternative.
Try the Sept 2003 issue of Good Old Boat magazine about showers on boats. Jerry does a great job describing the use of a relatively large watering can. Fun reading, and a good idea.
Any ideas on easy to rig/store shower enclosures? Dan can get a good shower sitting down w/ the Solar Shower, but its a little harder while at anchor not far from shore (& houses) for me to sit in the cockpit & shower areas normally covered by my one-piece swimsuit (you don't want to see me in a bikini!).

Hang it from the boom... Inflatable ring at the top is supposed to provide shape. Pic in the catalog.
We'll take your word for it, Cathy--you can skip the bikini.
