I received this via email today, wanted to post it.
quote:
Hi Duane,
Just to make this completely official; provided that everyone involved is still interested in serving...
I nominate Bryan Beamer for Vice Commodore
I nominate Donald Peet for Secretary
I nominate JB Manley for Treasurer
I nominate Duane Wolff for Chief Measurer
I am willing to serve in any role that I am nominated for.
I would like to de-nominate myself from the office of Vice Commodore.
Since my nomination my family and I have decided to actively look for a bigger boat and I would be surprised if we will be a C250 owner at this time next year. I don?t think that it is fair to get into an election knowing that if elected you may have to replace me during the term.
As for the Quartermaster positions I will continue to do this and if we do move to a bigger boat I will notify you when that happens and I will continue to do the job I volunteered for until you can find a replacement.
 From the e-mail I received from “C25/250 TellTale”;
“We will be accepting nominations for the 5 elected offices of this Association via any medium available, phone, the website, email or regular US mail. These nominations must be received by an officer by midnight, October 5th. Forum posts should be individual threads for each member nominated. The title should be Association Nomination.”
I e-mailed the following to both Clifton Thompson and Duane Wolf and am posting the nomination here on the “Association Nomination” thread. I'm not sure if I need to start a new thread for this nomination.
“I would like to nominate Gary Bruner for Vice Commodore. Gary is the Captain of Fleet #94 our newest fleet. He has brought together an active group of members who race and cruise together in the North West. Thank you, John Gisondi”
